Junior Accountant – Barcelona, Spain

We provide tailor-made distribution solutions and multiple packaging capabilities for a broad portfolio of Commodity and Specialty chemicals. We serve a wide range of customers active in the fields of Resins & Coatings, Pharmaceuticals, Petrochemicals and Gas, Agrochemicals, Water Treatment, Industrial Applications and Personal Care. We are located in 9 European countries, in China & in Canada.

We are currently looking for a Finance & Administration Assistant with knowledge of bookkeeping for our office in Barcelona, Spain

Your Role:

  • Input the financial related administration in our ERP system
  • Accounts receivable: generate customer invoices, send them out & payment follow up
  • Accounts payable: supplier invoices, booking and send for payment
  • Assist to book General expenses in General Ledger
  • Prepare statistics for reporting
  • Internal process compliance and process improvement for ERP
  • Prepare VAT declaration

Your Responsibilities:

  • Have good knowledge of the Novasol Chemicals procedures and its related software
  • Ensuring a timely & precise input in our ERP system (Oracle Netsuite)
  • Propose improvements in the ways of working
  • Respect the confidentiality of the financials of the company

Your Competences:

  • Bachelor in Accountancy or financial administration
  • Knowledge of international VAT rules
  • Fluent in Spanish & English
  • Pro-active and independent worker
  • Precise in the way of working
