Sulfolane

Sulfolane is a man-made industrial solvent, commonly used in gas production and oil refining. It is a highly polar, very stable, water soluble compound with solvent power for many organic materials. 

Novasol has REACH registered Sulfolane and is an active member of the Sulfolane Consortium.

We propose two different qualities: Sulfolane anhydrous and Sulfolane aqueous. Sulfolane aqueous is normally supplied containing 2,5 to 3% water, as this mixture is fluid at 10°C. The water content can be modified according to customers’ need.
